MOU signed between CWIN Nepal and Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center to provide necessary psychosocial counseling support to the child patients

 An MOU was signed between CWIN Nepal and Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center (SGNHC) to provide necessary psychosocial counseling support to the child patients in the children's ward of SGNHC. A Tele-video facility will also start to address the mental health issues of the Children and Adolescents visiting the hospital. Required equipment for the Tele-video consultation was handed over to the hospital today, amidst the program. The MOU also stated that CWIN Nepal will provide emergency support on an as-needed basis to the children from deprived communities who are referred by hospitals. Again, CWIN will provide the necessary orientation and training to enhance the overall capacity of human resources within the hospital. The memorandum was signed by the Executive Director Dr. Chandra Mani Adhikari on behalf of SGNHC and Sumnima Tuladhar, the Executive Director on behalf of CWIN Nepal. The signing was witnessed by Dr. Arun Kunwar, team leader of Children and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit of Kanti Children's Hospital and Bimala Aryal Gautam, Chief of the Administrative Division of SGNHC, in presence of Madhav Pradhan, the President of CWIN-Nepal, Manoj Kaur Bista, Chief of Finance Division SGNHC, Subodh Chandra Shrestha, Treasurer of CWIN-Nepal and Kumar Bhattarai, Spokesperson of CWIN.
