A two-day training program was conducted to equip schoolteachers from Helambu and Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipalities with the knowledge and skills to identify and refer mental health issues among children and adolescents, to the concerned health workers. A total of 22 teachers participated in the training, which aimed to strengthen collaboration between schools, parents, and communities in tackling mental health challenges of children and adolescents of the rural municipalities.
The program was organized by CWIN Nepal with the support of Woord en Daad, with a goal to reach around 15,000 children and adolescents in Helambu and Panchpokhari by the end of this year.
