CWIN Executive Board met with the members of Child Advisory Group members at Pasthali, Kavre on 21 June 2016. The representative children shared about the election of new committee members. They presented their suggestions for ongoing activities in the centre including their plans to promote the rights of the child in the village and within the centre. They also made suggestions to respond to the needs of children affected by the earthquake. The board will meet the advisory group next month for their specific inputs on CWIN’s new strategic directions. CWIN has a provision of the Children’s Advisory Group to ensure children’s valuable inputs to strategic and policy building within CWIN. The Board meets with the advisory group on a quarterly basis.
