Capacity Building Training Conducted for Teachers in Kalinchok Rural Municipality

A two-day capacity development training (Baishakh 18-19) for teachers was conducted at Divyashwori Secondary School, Ward No. 1 of Kalinchok Rural Municipality, Dolakha. A total of 30 teachers including teachers from nearby schools participated in the training program.

The training focused on child rights, sexual and reproductive health rights, and the development of educational materials on the topic to support effective teaching and learning practices. Sessions were facilitated by Santosh Bimali, Program Officer of CWIN NepalDolakha, and Kiran Upreti, Principal of Divyashwori Secondary School.
The program was inaugurated by Mr. Padam Bahadur Thami, Chairperson of Kalinchok Rural Municipality, who highlighted the importance of empowering teachers with knowledge and practical skills to support children’s education and wellbeing.
