A pivotal Alliance for Civic Space Promotion meeting aimed at strengthening civic space in Nepal and charting a roadmap for future progress was organized on 8th September, 2024. The event marked a significant step forward in cultivating a more open and supportive environment for civic engagement.

The meeting brought together parliamentarians, civil society organizations, international agency representatives, and journalists, all of whom contributed their expertise and dedication to the cause. The collective insights underscored the importance of collaboration in overcoming challenges facing our civic space.

Discussions focused on strategies to enhance civic freedoms and ensure that every voice in Nepal is heard and valued. The shared commitment to these goals was inspiring and indicative of each stakeholder’s crucial role.
