Vacancy Announcement- Psychiatric Nurse

CWIN-Nepal, in collaboration with Kavli trust is seeking application from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Psychiatric Nurse at under the project “Mental Health Matters- Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Mental Health”

Position: Psychiatric Nurse (1)

• Duty Station: Child Helpline Office, Kailali
• Application Deadline: 22nd February 2026
• Key Responsibilities-: Reports to Project Manager/Project Coordinator

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct training programs to enhance teachers’ knowledge and skills in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL).
• Provide Psychosocial First Aid (PFA) training to target populations.
• Organize and facilitate mental health outreach programs.
• Participate and facilitate in rapid response activities
• Provide psychosocial first aid and general counselling support to children and adolescents in child helpline.
• Facilitate training sessions for healthcare providers, teachers, and caregivers.
• Deliver psychoeducation and counseling services to schools, parents, and community organizations, both in person and remotely.
• Coordinate and conduct activities in close collaboration with psycho-social counsellors for effective implementation of project activities.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including schools, health facilities, local governments, and community organizations.

Required Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Masters in Nursing (Psychiatry) or Psychology is preferred
• Active Registration with the Nepal Nursing Council (NNC) mandatory.
• Strong Communication Skills
