We remember Terje Heggerness, the former Secretary General of FORUT Norway, as a guardian who stood by us through the most difficult times and supported CWIN Nepal on its mission to create a just society for children. An exceptional human being whose presence radiated warmth, and kindness, and has touched the lives of numerous children in Nepal with his innate sense of empathy.

While we mourn the loss of Terje, let us also remember the legacy he leaves behind. His unwavering optimism and genuine concern for others left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. Terje possessed a rare ability to make everyone around him feel seen, heard, and valued—a gift that truly made him special.

Rest in peace, dear Terje. You will forever live in our hearts.
