•  CWIN/RDTA TUKI/FORUT organized a third day health camp at Kalinchowk VDC for children and adults. People from all 9 wards in the VDC came to the camp. The German Paediatrician carried out health check up of 160 patients. Necessary medicines were distributed from the camp.
  • CWIN/RDTA TUKI/FORUT continued distribution of zinc sheets to schools in northern part of Dolakha to establish temporary schools.
  • According to an initial assessment done by CWIN/TUKI local staff, at least 880 households have been internally displaced from the 8 VDCs in northern Dolakha. Families, who have moved from their original inhabitation have been taking shelter in safer villages.
  • Nepal Disaster Volunteer Coordination Network organized a training on Psycho-social First Aid (PFA), stress management and self care to 47 participants from CSOs, CBOs and volunteers from 14 organizations. The training was jointly conducted by The Relief Trust and CWIN- Nepal.
  • CWIN sent relief items including tarpaulins, blankets, food items and sanitary napkins to Laliptpur, Kathmandu and Kavre districts.
  • CWIN also distributed child packs for children in a child care home in Kavre.
  • CWIN is running child protection help desks in Dolakha to respond to cases of children at risk situations.
