• CWIN/RDTA TUKI/FORUT organized a health camp in Kalinchowk VDC, ward no. 3, Begumpa with the help of German Paediatrician. Seventy five children got their health checked up. Medicines were distributed to all the patients. Some cases of critical health situation will be referred to hospitals in Kathmandu for further treatment. CWIN/TUKI will follow-up with the cases.
  • CWIN/RDTA TUKI distributed water purifier and jerry cans to health post and schools in Kalinchowk ward no. 3 – Gegumpa. Likewise, we distributed sanitary napkins to adolescent girls and blankets to mothers of new-born babies.
  • CWIN/RDTA TUKI also distributed relief items like buckets, food items and blankets to senior citizens and women of Bhimeshwor Municipality of Dolakha. The Municipality is also one of the most affected areas and the local people have not been reached by relief organisations.
  • CWIN/RDTA TUKI made assessments of schools in two VDCs of northern Dolakha to plan for temporary schools.
  • CWIN organized an orientation for technicians and sub-engineers to build temporary learning centres in northern VDCs of Dolakha. CWIN/TUKI/FORUT will help all the 48 schools in this part of Dolakha to run temporary schools and build temporary learning schools. We will also provide necessary stationery, recreational materials and white boards to all the schools.
  • CWIN and NEPAS jointly organized a health camp in Rasuwa district. The Paedistricians and General Physicians conducted health-check-up of 300 plus children and adults. Free medicines were distributed to all the patients.
  • Similarly, CWIN in collaboration with Health and Development society of Nepal and Thecho Ambulance Service organized a Dental Camp at Thecho, Lalitpur. A total of 88 children and 135 adults benefited from the dental camp.
  • CWIN volunteers also distributed leaflets to spread awareness on psycho-social well-being of children in all the three health camps held today in Dolakha, Rasuwa and Lalitpur.
